Whilst soon to be replaced by the Challenger 650, the 605 remains available to order. Derived from the original 600 series (subsequently followed by the 601 and 604) the 605 is a wide-body aircraft built in Canada, offering a range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles with eight passengers. It uses General Electric CF34 engines and an upgraded Collins ProLine 21 avionics system.
