A derivative of the Global Express which itself was the first clean-sheet designed ultra-long range business jet launched in 1993 with first flight in 1996, certification by Canada July 1998, FAA in November 1998 and JAA in May 1999. First customer delievery was July 23 1999 and the final delievery in September 2005 after 148 aircraft had been delievered.The Global Express XRS entered service in November 2005 and was succeded by the 6000 in March 2012.
